Project Manager

Qualifications for Project Manager:
1. Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.

3. Certification – Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), IPMA, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are highly recommended.

4. Project Management Knowledge – Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, and budgeting.

5. EPC Phases – Comprehensive knowledge of each phase of engineering, procurement, and construction, as well as how these stages are interconnected and impact one another.

6. Industry Standards – Familiar with standards, regulations, and best practices applicable in relevant industries (e.g., oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, infrastructure).

7. Software Skills – Proficient in MS Project and/or Primavera.

8. MS Office – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

9. Contract Management – Understanding of project contract details, including terms and conditions, scope of work, payment schedules, as well as claims and change orders.

10. HSE Knowledge – Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.

11. Decision Making – Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure, often with limited information.

12. Negotiation Skills – Skilled in negotiating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

13. Proficiency in English (both oral and written) is an advantage.
